***Just want to thank you all for making our ministry here at New Hope Maui a fruitful one this past 9 months.  This has been my limited perspective of the fruit I have seen the past 9 months and I can’t even begin to dream or imagine what the rest of the body has been up to.

**The “themes” this past year for the ministry has been:

-Moving from and “I suck” attitude to “We’re great” style of living
-Learning to live in the “empowered” mindset vs. the “automatic pilot” mode
-Using “positive inquiry” or using questions to highlight peoples identity
-Living in the prophetic as a lifestyle
-Dreaming with God as the body of Christ for vision and clarity on our New Hope Maui D.N.A.

Sam’s Summer Plans:

**HONDURAS:

The encouragement and conviction for me this past few months is to do church as a team.  With hopes of going to DPRK or N. Korea once again this summer I was inclined to be together with my church family and join our Honduras Missions team and not go to DPRK.  I felt a lot of peace and joy for the first time joining a team rather than doing something independently.
I am excited to say that with all the skills learned this past year we will be taking a small team to Honduras to multiply and plant seeds of new hope!

We will be doing teachings on:
-Inner healing
-Evangelism
-Living a lifestyle in the prophetic

and Ministering at:
-Universities
-Hospitals
-Public Parks
-the local Church of Tegucigalpa

*The trip will be from June 20- July 2 2016

**MISSIONS ON MAUI:

This summer we will also be continuing our mission to make disciples of all Nations here on the island of Maui.  With many people on the island looking for fun, restoration, and community we will be offering MMA basic training sessions in parks around Wailuku and Waihee, VBS like bible studies and programs for our neighborhood communities, sports training outreaches, and lots of beach activities and hikes for our young adult and youth groups around the island.

To start off the summer we will be having a small outreach team from Florida to kick start our summer.  Then at the start of July we will be having an outreach team from Canada to power through the end of July.  We will be having close to 13 outreach volunteers to serve the mission and vision of New Hope Maui summer missions building towards the fall.

Some of our outreach locations will be:

-Hale Makana: community neighborhood of 20-30 youth we minister to weekly
-Harbor Lights: community neighborhood of 30-40 youth we minister to weekly
-Kanaha Beach: public park with international surfers, volley ball nets, and open to public
-Queen K. Mall: inviting youth to events and programs
-Skate parks: doing skate contest
-Waihee Park: community neighborhood of 15-20 youth
-Paia: public town with many internationals

SUPPORT:
By the end of June I am planning to raise $1,200 for missions trip cost to Honduras and as well attend the “Foursquare Conference Connection” as I am on staff with a “Foursquare” church.

  Cost:
-$945 for airfare to Honduras
-$9 a day for food and board = $90
-$180 for airfare to Honolulu for Foursquare Conference

  Prayer:
-for unity and power with upcoming outreach and intern teams
-safety for travels

-open hearts and minds to those we will be ministering to
-many divine opportunities
