(THOUGHT FULL)
This weeks Words by Chad D.
*If you want to be a leader that truly empower people to fulfill their destiny in Christ, you must allow them to give and serve according to their availability and capacity, not your requirements and demands.
*God is not looking for us to lead anything for Him, but He is looking for us to host everything with Him!
*If you're looking for biblical revelation for any other reason than to know Christ better, you have lost the real simplicity and real importance of revelation.
Don't seek revelation so that you will be known by others as a revelation guru, seek revelation so that Christ is known and others are attracted to Him.
The spirit of wisdom and revelation is not to promote our ministries, it's to perfect the image of Christ in our lives. The more we know Christ, the more we know ourselves, and the more we know what Christ is like, the more we can properly represent Him in the world.
You can write a book full of revelational nuggets, but if those revelations never reflect and reveal Christ, it is no different than a good novel.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. (Ephesians 1:17 NIV)
*Our churches have become so busy counting sheep that we have fell asleep, and our gatherings turn out to be no more than a religious slumber party.
Only when we realize that it's not about counting and numbering sheep in our churches, but finding and reaching lost sheep in the world will we begin to be awakened from our slumber.
And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. (Romans 13:11 NIV)
