Everyone basis their life dessisions on some type of foundation on which we act upon.
Past experinces, thoughts, influences, and emotions seem to direct most people.
Just like the waves of the sea ones thoughts or dessicions can change depending on who or what is around. (If we don't know what our foundation is.)
Now how can someone be sure of his/her foundtaion is a stabel one?
A foundation is tested by trust. So what or who can be trustworthy? Words like reliable, faithfull, honest, and true come to mind.
Now what defines those words? Or what are you causing to define these words for you?
Now coming back to the foundations in which your life is built. Because what is usually your main value beliefs repersent what is at the core of your foundations.
And when lifes pressures, trials, and testings ones foundations can and will be shaken.
And at the core of your soul cries out for something or someone that can be trusted.
What or whom are you trusting?
So reflecting on this idea of a foundation, I find myself in a vulnerable place of trusting. And in trusting I find the words of Jesus to be true and reliable.
A solid foundation.
